Join us at the Library at 7:30pm for brief reports from HPL Board President Ken Emerson, Treasurer Bill Thomas and Librarian Emily Valente.
The speaker at our Annual Meeting on Tuesday, August 5 at 7:30 pm will be Ted O’Meara, sharing lessons from a lifetime immersed in Maine politics and issues, most recently urging fellow Republicans to vote against Donald Trump on The Rachel Maddox Show and helping lead opposition to a proposed fish farm in Frenchman Bay. His working title is “Citizens Divided: How Big Money Has Wrecked Our Politics and Threatens Our Democracy.”
