July 6th, 2026
Greetings library friends and patrons! After a hot start the library is off and running!
Here’s this week’s news:
- We’ve adjusted the start times of our July Tea Times to accommodate those wanting to also attend the Monteaux Concerts — our special Tea Times with Karen MacPherson and Caroline Bicks will now be from 3:30-4:30 PM !
- Our first annual Chess Tournament was a great success last Friday thanks to Thomas Karvounis with an assist from Christina. This new fundraiser brought in $120 for new materials for the library, and fun was had by all. Congrats to our winner, Benji, and finalist Pat!
- Have you gotten your membership yet? Our summer membership is still only 20$ for the summer, less than the price of a new release hardcover, and you can easily complete your membership through our donation page on our website
- Tea Time begins this week on Weds at 4 PM on the Porch
- Storytime begins on Thursday at 10AM — This week we will be reading stories about Maine, playing Maine Bingo and making bookmarks.
